What is a HUD home?
HUD homes
What is a HUD home? HUD homes are homes owned by the Department of Housing
and Urban Development. They are homes that had a loan that were backed by
the government and the homeowner went into foreclosure. These homes are sold
through an online auction process. They are normally priced less than the
other homes in the neighborhood. They also can come with a home inspection
and an opportunity to see the home before making an offer. This is another
good way to get a great deal on your next home and the best part is the
timeframe to close is dependent on the buyer and not HUD. In most cases the
auction ends on a Sunday and the winner is notified on Monday and is ready
to close as soon as you are. For an updated list of HUD homes please contact
